[by Bae Jung Yun] 2PM and Wonder Girls received an award from the Chinese music award ‘The 2nd KU Asian Music Award’.
On March 29 at 6pm (local time), the music award held in Guangzhou, China. 2PM received Asia most popular group award and Wonder Girls received Asia best performance award.
2PM Nichkhun gave his remarks at the event by saying, “It is so sad that all group members couldn’t come to the event because of their schedule. We will do our best in the future. I am so glad to receive this honorary award. We will repay it with better music. I would like to thank all of our fans.”
Wonder Girls said, “Thank you for inviting us to KU Asian Music Award and giving us this nice award. Also, thank to our Chinese fans who supports us.” The group performed its hit songs ‘I feel you’ and ‘Nobody’ and received enthusiastic acclamation from the audience.
The award was live broadcasted through Chinese video platforms such as Kugou Fanxing, LeTV, Mango TV, Youku and Tudou. The event will be broadcasted all over china through Hubei Satellite TV.
The award, which is held by Chinese leading music web site called Kugou, awarded artists who had various activities in the general music related area.
